Settings not preserved
Jack Sankey
A previous post suggested ui settings are now stored locally, and the suggestion was closed.
In the latest night update (Oct 5, 2023), settings are still not persistent for me. The muted music always turns back on, my favorite room code is randomized, my online search options are reset.
Thanks!

Jack Sankey Updating the game will wipe PlayerPrefs, the jukebox in main menu isn't an option rather a interactive object, to keep this muted load into social lobby - open pause menu - and drag the MUSIC slider all the way to the left. This change will persist between launches but will be wiped with a reinstall or update.
Room codes are also not a locally stored option as rooms are spun up as needed, I imagine this isnt saved between sessions because a certain code may also be liked by other players and should be accessible to all, we don't want your game to start and it dump you in a possibly already occupied room.
Online Play search parameters are also not stored between sessions. This ensures players only play the modes they want to and helps prevent accidently queuing into competitive when only casual may have been wanted.

Tom Towell: Room code: just remember it (if I check a "lock" symbol) and spin it up when i log in? Walkabout doors this and it's great for always finding friends. If other people use my room if like to meet them! :)
Search parameters: maybe another lock symbol for remembering them? I always select everything to maximize my chances of an actual match. Or a "choose all" button?

Tom Towell: of shoot and regarding music, i love the game music as is, just the menu music is way too loud! Can't hear my friends talk.

Jack Sankey: We have to load a room for you to enter the game, and dropping you into a saved room name has the possibility of other players being in there already, which we want to avoid.
On your second point, hitting quick play from the main menu does the same thing, it is a button that select all modes

Jack Sankey: in my previous suggestion, you can adjust the volume using the sliders in the pause menu, these will be persistent between launches, but are saved lcoally, so re-installing the game and updates will reset it

Tom Towell: Interesting. I remember exploring that option and realizing that killing the music volume simultaneously killed the menu music and the music in the actual game (the nice music when someone scores, e.g.). I'll take another look.
Regarding the other stuff I realize decisions have to be made so zero worries. (I never actually expect any kind of action, just throwing out ideas.)
