Instead on having to inconveniently hold the button which will slow down your reaction time, you should have an option to press the button once to toggle it on and off.

When the talk button was on the left controller, it was a lot better

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who fumbles trying to slide and shoot while trying to acknowledge another player in the heat of battle. ;)
