(PCVR) Higher FOV Desktop View and Perspective Options
complete
Anon Guy
When recording this games desktop view, the current FOV and left eye by default doesn't allow for the best representation for what is going on within the headset.
Having the option to choose which eye the view is coming form as well as some FOV options would allow for the best looking desktop view and recordings of the game.

Anon Guy yo yooo I film all the content for the nock socials and over my time have discovered some cool tricks, this does depend on your headset though so I'll need to know what you're using

Tom Towell: I have an Index and record using a 4K Display but a good example of what im talking about is how Blade and Sorcery handles configuring the desktop view. It does more than FOV in Blade and Sorcery as you can chose which view that has tradeoffs in quality or a freecam.
Currently the best FOV View is recording the SteamVR's VR View that mixes both eyes but that shows the playspace which is why I prefer doing it through ingame.

Anon Guy: I see! Then your best bet in the current version of the game is to use the Spectator Cameras "FPS" option, this hugely boosts the FOV on your secondary display
Anon Guy
Tom Towell: Awesome did not realize that was an option, cant wait to try it once the game launches!

Anon Guy: np! July 13th!

Tom Towell: Was able to use the mode and it works so well. Would love some way to activate it using the desktop view using the mouse so its easier for people to find if they dont end up looking in the menus (like I did lol).
